“Advance Australia Fair” was proclaimed as the Australia’s National Anthem by the Governor General on 19^th April 1984, and the words and music was composed by Peter Dodds McCormick. However, the official version (see lyrics below) of “Advance Australia Fair” is only a subset of the original version from McCormick’s version.
